Every website is unique and hand-written by us from our own design—we don’t use templates or generators. This means our sites are super lean with every line of code optimised for fast loading.
Often a simple website is all that is needed by most people, but we can easily accommodate the more complicated requirements such as self-managed websites, database websites and ecommerce websites.

Static Websites
Many people feel they need a self-managed site from day one, but from our experience we have found this isn’t always needed.
It’s often better to start small and simple so as to keep your costs to a minimum. Then, as your business outgrows your website, definitely consider reinvesting some profits back into your website by either adding self-management ability, or even reinventing the site as a full-blown ecommerce website.
We are more than happy to advise the best solution for you, and if we think adding self-management is not cost-effective for you, will happily do minor updates and changes for you free of charge (eg replacing/adding a photo or two, or some line of text). (A charge may apply for more involved work like adding extra pages.)
The way we see it is this: we’re in this together, and if we rip you blind we all lose.
You may even prefer to build the site yourself using our SiteBuilder software—this would cost no more than the cost of web hosting and your time! Yes, that’s right: we would happily advise ourselves out of work if it is in your best interest.
Self-Managed Websites
We offer two types of self-managed websites. Non ecommerce sites would benefit best from our own in-house software developed specifically for the job. Ecommerce websites would use the built in features of our preferred ecommerce software. Some websites would benefit from a combination of the two—we are happy to advise.
Both versions use a very powerful online WYSIWYG editor that allows you to insert photos and text where you want, not where the program tells you to.
And if you’d prefer to build your own site, we offer additional choices through our website hosting business Optimate Web Hosting. We have several opensource CMS packages including the very popular Joomla and Drupal for the more technically minded, or the SiteBuilder software for those who just want to get a simple site up quickly.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and AdWord Campaigns
Our SEO/AdWords policy is one industry per country, which avoids conflicts of interest. We show favouritism in a good way—you know without doubt that we will only focus on your site and not your competitor’s.
Because of the intense nature of the work we can only take on a limited number of projects each year. We work on a “no results no pay” system which couldn’t be fairer, places all risk on us, and ensures you’re not blantantly ripped off along the way either.
Website Hosting
We offer very fast and reliable website hosting through our web hosting business Optimate Web Hosting. We are not a web hosting reseller. We have our own servers under our complete control and maintained 24/7 by proficient Australian administrators. We can accommodate even the more challenging requests a typical reseller would either not have a clue about, or simply be prevented from providing as a service (like hosting the resource-hungry Magento).
